Suicide of an Indian couple from Hyderabad was talked around the world. There are innumerable people committing suicide everyday but the suicide of this couple is a hot topic as they hanged themselves over the death of their pooch.
Retired soldier C.N. Madanraj, 67, and his wife, Tarabai, 63, had described their grief over their pet’s death in the suicide note.
Maharaj’s nephew described the couple’s grief as:
They were so shocked and saddened by the loss of their companion that they performed a formal funeral. They wrapped its body in cloth and buried it in the backyard of their home.”
The childless couple had made proper arrangements for their funeral too by leaving about $40 to pay for it.
I am confused whether I should mock at their weak attitude or commemorate over their strange reason for suicide.
