A weird competition of cockroach-eating record going on in the North American theme park has outraged an animal rights group. PETA has stated that they have received numerous calls urging them to stop the bizarre cockroach-eating contest.

Anyway, the current world record is in the name of Ken Edwards of England who ate 6 Madagascar hissing cockroaches in one minute in 2001. One who will break the record will get a free season pass for Halloween along with a VIP queue-jumping status.
PETA spokeswoman Jackie Vergerio said, "Insects do not deserve to be eaten alive especially for a gratuitous marketing gimmick".
