You really get to know a guy’s got no life when he tries to break a Guinness world record by trying to put an elephant inside a bubble! Bubble artist Fan Yang, who has previously thrilled audiences with tricks like smoke-filled bubbles, spinning bubbles and a bubble carousel, attempted to break into the record books for a staggering 15th time by trying to get an elephant inside a giant soap bubble. This was Yang’s second attempt at the feat after his previous attempt last month was canceled by Discovery Science Center after animal rights protesters claimed the trick would be demeaning to the majestic beast. The centre itself claimed it wanted to make sure public safety would not be jeopardized with the trick before giving the record breaking attempt a go-ahead. Though we do not as yet know whether Yang has been able to break the previous record or not, but given that he already has managed to get 100 people inside a single gigantic bubble on the Oprah Winfrey Show this January, we’re optimistic that he has already secured the terrific feat in the book.
