This photo deserves a stunning glance. It is a festivity known as Yamagata potato stew festival, being celebrated beside the Mamigasaki river in Japan.

Here soup was prepared for 30,000 people by 100 chefs. The pot used was 20 meter in diameter. This was the public relation scenario for the promulgation of the consumption of local agricultural products sponsored by Yamagata Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Its hugeness is reflected from the fact that after four hour's slog the soup was served with the help of diggers. I hope it might have got the mark in some record book.
