When it comes to anniversaries, most women have a hard time making sure the men in their lives remember them. When they do manage the aforementioned feat, more often than not they have a hard time making sure they can get their men to not mess the day up. And even if they get these conditions in place by hook or by crook, there is still no guarantee that the ladies will get what they really want (e.g. sexy lingerie, diamonds, chocolates, dozen red roses) as a gift and not what the men think they want (e.g. socks, oven mitts, homemade crotchless panties, etc!). Of all the weird anniversary gifts my own adorable but clueless boyfriend has managed to give me over the years, I’d have to admit, none were as horrifyingly nerdy as this 3D rat brain model that this dude named Adam created for LiveJournal blogger Molliebatmit for their first anniversary! Now most females would be almost offended by such a gift but since Adam was sensitive enough to “make the present” based on sections and pictures he found online, using those to make a CAD drawing, and printing it out on his office’s 3D printer, the nerdy chic was floored by the gesture! Huh, I guess the “tomato-tamaato” crap really is true!
